YouTube’s dark mode offers an easier-on-the-eyes viewing experience. It’s especially nice when viewing videos from the dark. YouTube’s dark motif is on the YouTube website and in YouTube’s cellular programs for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Enable Dark Mode Over the Internet
On YouTube’s background site, click your profile icon at the top right corner of the page. Click on the “Dark Theme” choice from the menu.
If you aren’t signed in, click the menu button (it seems just like three vertical dots) rather than You’ll find the same “Dark Theme” alternative.
Activate the”Dark Theme” slider to allow the dark theme for YouTube. This setting applies to an existing web browser so you will need to enable the dark theme on each computer you use–it will not sync with your Google account.
To undo this change, click the menu or profile button again, select”Dark Theme,” and turn off the slider.
For a complete dark mode on your own desktop, enable dark mode on your Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge browser. You could even allow a dark motif in Gmail, too. You may also trigger Windows 10’s built-in dark mode.
iPhone and iPad
The YouTube program for iPhone and iPad includes its very own dark mode option, also. To enable it, launch the app and tap on your own profile icon at the very top right corner of the screen.
Tap “Preferences” from the menu that appears.
Activate the”Dark Theme” slider on the Settings display.
To utilize YouTube’s ordinary light theme again, go here and deactivate the”Dark Theme” slider.
Google is gradually rolling out a dark mode for YouTube’s Android app, although it is not available on all apparatus just yet.
